Dear Foundation Parents and Guardians,

Wow! What an incredible term to experience! We are immensely proud of our foundation students and families after such unforeseen circumstances due to Covid-19.

During our Zoom sessions, foundation students were responsible, well organised and worked hard to complete their tasks. Home learning was certainly a new and challenging experience that we will never forget; but we overcame all sorts of obstacles; from technical issues with sound, picture, encrypted logins and MyEd tasks, however, seeing our friends on Zoom each day was a treat and we are so grateful to foundation parents for their support, patience and persistence.

Upon our return to school, the foundation students quickly settled into well-known routines and structure, while always following social distancing and hygiene practices. Well done to all!

Students enjoyed hands-on activities across curriculum areas when they returned to school, and they worked tremendously hard to complete assessments. The highlights for us were pyjama day and making boomerangs before testing them in the playground.

We would like to wish our students and families a safe and a relaxing holiday break. We look forward to another fun-filled term.
